Hello, my name is Kayla Lubin! I am 35 y/o and I live in Lake Charles, LA.

This year (2025), I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma). Since being diagnosed, my care team is located in Baton Rouge, LA, where I travel weekly to see my oncologist, reconstructive surgeon, and breast specialist. This has been a very trying and quite expensive time in my life with unexpected hospital stays and bills adding up while missing work! I'm a very prideful person but never too prideful when I need help to continue pressing forward with my "new normal" of life.
