Hi Guys,
This is literally the last thing I ever wanted to do but in this tragic endeavor it has left us financially in ruin as well as emotionally distraught.
On August 1st we had taken our poor baby girl Khaleesi Garrison into the vet as her right eye had completely clouded over, as she was examined, she was ultimately misdiagnosed with glaucoma and the eye was removed due possible spread of infection or tumor. At this time she had shown no other signs of sickness.
We returned on Monday August 4th because baby girl was giving us a scare as she was not eating and acting really lethargic. After the site check with the vet she was cleared to go home and we went back to recovery mode.
August 7th was Nates first day off in a very long time and the whole day was dedicated to Khaleesi and Dad time eating her favorite snacks and just relaxing and sleeping all day long, but unfortunately this is where everything took a turn for the worse, our baby girl stopped eating and only had an appetite for water and couldn't walk around for very long. We both thought maybe the meds post surgery were making her sick as she couldn't keep anything down. Based on this panic the vet was contacted to schedule a very early visit in the morning, where we felt very optimistic that the symptoms would clear and everything would be great...
August 8th 2025
We woke up to baby girl having a bloody nose and unable to walk. She was rushed into the vet and that when we were hit with the news that she had entered stage 3 lymphoma... HOW CAN THIS BE?!!! We were Just here! We DID EVERYTHING WE COULD AND! Trust us when we say we had screamed, we had CRIED! We did everything we could in our financial power to double check! TRIPLE CHECK! It all came out the same. The only option left was to put her on a Chemo board which costs $10,000.00 or the unfortunate alternative. Based on her pain level and spread level we knew what the answer was.
We lost Khaleesi Anne-Cyclops Garrison on the morning of August 8th 2025 and that's where she would take her last breath in her daddy's arms in the company of mommy as she traveled to the great unknown.
If you now anything about Nate you knew the screams from him left it quiet enough to make a pin drop in that vets office as we left in distraught.
This fundraiser is an attempt to help us reagin what we lost financially trying to help save our baby girls life. No more, No less.
From the bottom of our hearts thank you again to anyone who supported the first fundraiser where we launched T Shirts for our baby girl and to anyone who donates, Shares this post, or even reaches outs with kind words.
We are forever in your debt.
