Hello, our names are Joshua and Ashley and we have two beautiful children! We are very thankful to be alive! Tuesday morning at 3 AM, our lives changed due to the negligence of our trailer park manager! Our house was struck by a tree, leaving us with a lot of structural damage in our bedroom and bathroom, and we have no home insurance to cover it due to it being really old. We asked the park manager in may to take care of the tree for us because we felt unsafe and due to his negligence we have a hole in our roof and have been losing heat for 3 days now. The state of Vermont housing authority is trying to not be at fault for this so we have to be prepared for everything and anything especially if their insurance decides to not cover it to . It’s been hard to get into emergency housing because all of its income base.

We are asking that anyone please help us with whatever they can to this long road of disaster recovery we are about to experience. The money will be saved until we have enough money raised to get a new home or our home fixed. ❤️‍
