Agnes's Cancer Battle

Donation protected

Hearing the words "Breast cancer" is a shock, especially when your a mother of 2, and a grandmother of 3.  Also, hearing the words "Metastasis", is even more shocking, and confusing.

Here's the story: Agnes Besong-Sessa, known to many as "Agie" or "Agie Nzoh", is the most God-fearing, strong, generous, kind hearted, thoughtful person, you will ever meet. She was diagnosed with breast cancer roughly 5 years ago, and underwent surgery. During that time, the diagnosis of breast cancer was discovered early and treatable. 2 years later, Agnes was told the cancer had Metastasized ( which means spread), to her bones and to one of her major organs, her liver. Agnes has Stage 4 cancer, was given 3 to 6 months to live.

Since that life expectancy was given to Agnes back  in 2014, Agnes did NOT let that stop her. She continued to work full time every day, and remained prayerful.  As the years progressed, and Agnes shattered that life expectancy given by doctors, her disease progressed as well.

Agnes tried to do the most normal thing a person can do, which is continue to live life, and remain as normal as possible. With the positive support of family and friends, it helped her and encouraged her day by day. Unfortunately, her circumstances drastically changed 1 month ago.

In August 2018, 1 week after returning from the Cancer Center, in Chicago, Agnes's situation went from bad to worst. She was found in her home, barely breathing and unable to move by her bed. She was rushed to the hospital by her sister and was admitted. Stricken with pain, ( due to the progression of the cancer) weight loss, and an oversized enlarged organ ( liver), Agnes is unable to talk well, walk well, and requires 24 hour care.

Her family appreciates all the calls, concerns, prayers, suggestions, visits, and positive love. Agnes has a 33 year old daughter and 17 year old son. Her son will be graduating High School in May 2019, and she wants nothing more than to be here and well to witness that day.

As you can imagine, the financial impact to Agnes and her family, over the last 5 years, have been extremely difficult. Agnes is very private, and never envisioned, that it would come to this point where she would have to seek  assistance from the public.

In an effort to assist Agnes, if you are moved and would like to donate anything immediately, toward Agnes's around the clock care, please donate here. Your donation will alleviate her worries for her care. Nothing is to little and anything is appreciated.

*Anything donated, will go directly to her for her care*

Agnes and the Family appreciates your assistance in advance.

God Bless.
