Afghan meal for up to 400 Afghan refugees

Hi there. My name is Rozanne McCoy and I am fundraising to provide a typical Afghan meal for up to 400 Afghan newcomers to Liverpool who are currently housed in a hotel. This is a project under the Liverpool Afghan Resettlement Group (LARG), a Facebook group that I set up on 17th August and now has 1.2k+ members.

Three phenomenal chefs will cook the meal in the hotel as guest chefs: Paul Askew, chef patron of the prestigious Art School Restaurant, Zainab Nezami, Afghan chef and star of YouTube channel Zenjoy, and Erroll Graham, Rastafarian chef and social entrepreneur.

The meal will take place on Sunday 31st October and our aim is to warmly welcome the new arrivals to Liverpool and give them a taste of home.
