Help Us Honor Jordan With a Proper Goodbye

On June 25, 2025, we unexpectedly lost our beloved cousin, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and friend, Jordan Elizabeth Welch—just hours after making the courageous decision to seek help. She checked into a rehabilitation facility in Greeley, Colorado, with hope in her heart and the desire to heal. She passed away quietly in her sleep—alone, far too young, and before she had the chance to begin her journey toward recovery.

Jordan was born on May 31, 1995, to Kathy Fuchs and Christopher Welch in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She spent much of her childhood in Las Vegas, where she attended school and grew up surrounded by her aunt Penny, uncle Mike, and cousins Nicole and Zachery. In 2015, she returned to Colorado to live with her mother Kathy, stepfather Eric, and her younger siblings, Brooke and Austin.

One of the greatest joys in Jordan’s life was her dog, Miklo. Their bond was undeniable! She loved taking him to the dog park, playing with him, and finding comfort in his companionship during both good days and hard ones.

Jordan was one of the most loving, kind-hearted, and empathetic souls you could ever meet. She had a radiant smile, a generous spirit, and a heart that was always open to others. Like far too many in today’s world, she became entangled in the devastating and growing drug epidemic. She battled addiction on and off for nearly a decade, but her decision to seek help was a sign of the strength and hope she still carried inside.

Our family is devastated and unprepared for the sudden costs of a funeral and memorial service. We are raising funds to give Jordan the farewell she deserves—one filled with love, dignity, and peace.
