Join Aria's battle to beat Cancer!

One day when me and my daughter decided to go out for some ice cream, she met another sweet little girl named Aria and they instantly hit it off! They quickly became great friends and have had many play dates and great moments together. Not to mention her parents are the sweetest people you'll meet!
From beach trips, to Chuck E Cheese days, to birthday parties, we've had some great years together!
Unfortunately, Aria at the age of 6, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Liver Cancer and will need a liver transplant. She and her family desperately need our help! Please read about her story below, from her mom, and please help them with any amount you can. I've teamed up with Aria's parents, to start this Go Fund Me account in hopes of a little help to get them through this tough time...

"This by far is the hardest message I've ever had to write. After 7 weeks of seeing multiple Doctors & Specialists, on Friday, February 8, 2019, my beautiful, sweet bébé girl was diagnosed with a hybrid of Stage 4 Hepatoblastoma & Hepatocellular Carcinoma (which is two forms of Liver Cancer). She is currently undergoing treatment at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. On December 21, 2018 Aria started having stomach pains, nausea & unexplained fevers. We went to several different pediatricians on multiple occasions, but all of the doctors chalked up her symptoms to traditional stomach pains, constipation, stomach flu, etc. We were not satisfied with their assessments as her symptoms did not improve & were coupled by paleness, weightloss & fatigue. We decided to go to a GI Specialist. Aria then had multiple scans (ultrasounds, x-rays, MRI's, CT's, EKG's, biopsies, etc). They discovered multiple large malignant tumors on her liver diagnosed as pretext Stage 4 Hepatoblastoma & Hepatocellular Carcinoma hybrid. Pediatric cancers account for only 1-2% of all cancers. Hepatoblastoma is a very rare form of cancer that generally affects 3 year olds & younger which averages 1 in a million. Aria will be 7 years old on March 2nd which makes her much older than the average. The fact that she has a hybrid of 2 forms of liver cancer makes her case extremely rare. She is the 1st child at Children's Hospital Los Angeles to be diagnosed with this hybrid condition & one of only 11 children within the past 10 years to be suffering from these horrible diseases. Given the extent of the disease to her liver, she must undergo a transplant. Approximately 60 to 70% of her liver is consumed by these 2 awful diseases.  Her current treatment plan consists of 3 blocks of Chemotherapy (Cisplatin & Doxorubicin) followed by an evaluation for transplant eligibility. In order for her to be eligible for a transplant she must not have any metastasizes in her body. Currently her lungs are clear, thank the Lord. However, there is a suspicious lymph node in her esophagus. The doctors are hoping it's unremarkable but will not know for sure until further testing is done & chemotherapy treatments continue. If she's found eligible, a transplant will occur. Following transplant recovery, she will need to undergo 3 more blocks of Chemotherapy & be on immuno-suppressants and antibiotics for life. This the beginning of a long and rough journey ahead of us which we are determined to fight and succeed.  Many people have asked how they can help. Aria is B+ blood type. If anyone would like to donate blood, you can come to Children's Hospital LA and bank blood on her behalf as needed for transfusions. She has already needed 1 transfusion since we have arrived at the hospital. Other ways you can help... medical expenses are astronomical. For example, for just 1 of the medications she has to take - the cost of just 1 dose/1 injection is $10,000.00 per injection.  We have lengthy hospital stays, medical equipment, medications, chemotherapies, transplant, food, parking, gas, etc.  Any donation, no matter how big or small , is EXTREMELY appreciated! Thank you so much for all of your help, love, good thoughts,  prayers, & support. We truly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts."
