Adoption-Help us start our family

My wife and I have always shared a dream of raising a family together. When I was a child, my parents took us on camping trips all over the country. We saw beautiful mountains and redwood forests, and went swimming in natural springs. I always imagined that I would be able to share these experiences with our children. For us, having kids biologically isn't the right decision - a combination of Graves Disease and a history of health problems makes pregnancy dangerous both for Courtney and the child. But God's blessed us, and I honestly feel that we could provide a wonderful home for a child in need.

Adoption is expensive. With legal fees combined with screenings, checkups, and counseling, government red tape, the cost of our adoption is nearly $40,000. We are adopting our son, Christian through - Americans for African Adoption/joyful World Ministries. He is a little two year old boy from Monrovia, Liberia.  You can see a picture of him above! :) Unfortunately we don't have nearly enough money to pay for the adoption as things currently stand. Every donation helps us to make this dream into a reality, no matter how small. We appreciate all the help we can get - thank you, and God bless.
