Adam’s post-transplant medical and living expenses

Since the fall of 2022, Adam has been in and out of the hospital for tests, imaging, blood work, and procedures. Many of these hospital visits have been planned, but many have also been unplanned visits to the emergency room. Adam was in desperate need of a liver transplant.

After many tiring months of hospital visits, sleepless nights, misery, exhaustion, sickness, and lots and lots of prayers, we finally got the call that they found a liver for him. We were all SO relieved. We cried happy tears… Our prayers had finally been answered! Adam had a successful liver transplant surgery on March 2, 2023 at UK hospital in Lexington. We are so blessed! His recovery journey is far from over though. An organ transplant surgery is a very extensive and complex surgery. Due to the complexity of the surgery, Adam is required to reside in Lexington, KY for a couple months so he can be in close proximity to the hospital if anything were to happen. Adam already has thousands of dollars in hospital bills and will now have to take on rent and additional living expenses. Because of his health, he is unable to work. We are asking for donations to help with Adam’s medical and living expenses. Any help is appreciated.
