Adalina Evie

On January 1st, my best friend Laird and his wonderful partner Hilary welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Adalina Evie Tutte into this world. Unfortunately, during labour, Adalina went a prolonged time without oxygen due to some unforeseen and unpredicted complications. After being flown down to Woman’s and Children’s Hospital from Williams Lake and getting the best care, tests, MRI’s and medical attention, it has been determined that Adalina will be living with moderate brain damage. This could mean that she could have a variety of disabilities, and the worst part is that nobody knows exactly what that means quite yet or what her quality of life will be until she gets older. 

I started this GoFundMe for Laird, Hilary and Adalina to help out with the costs of staying here in Vancouver, for any unpredicted extra time off of work that both Laird and Hilary may need, and for any future therapies or equipment needed for Adalina.  

I know we are going through a lot right now and it is a lot to ask of our friends and family to help out financially, but by simply sharing this post if you are unable to donate, would mean the world to our family. Thank you so much and I will keep this page updated on Adalina’s health and progress as they continue to stay here.
