Action Against Domestic Violence - Anah Project

The Anah Project, established in 1993, provides safe and secure temporary accomodation and advice for all women and specialise in BAMER (Black, Asian, Minority, Ethnic and Refugee) women, who are fleeing or experiencing domestic violence and/or abuse.

I'm raising money in aid of ANAH PROJECT LTD and every donation will help to make a difference.

Anah Project prides itself on empowering and enabling women from the BAMER community to live without fear, realise their dreams, achieve their desired aspirations, resettle into the community and be successful at whatever they choose to do.

Anah Project wants to see women from the BAMER community achieve their full potential and become free from any forms of violence and abuse. We want all women to have the freedom to be who they want to be and achieve what they want to achieve without any cultural, religious, gender or societal restraints.

By donating to this cause you will be helping women to begin to overcome the abuse they have experienced, some come to Anah and have to flee home with just the clothing on their back and Anah helps them to buy clothing, such as a coat or winter shoes.  The money will be used to buy food, and also help women to access education by paying for their travel to college or courses.  Some of the money will be used in order to allow the women to take part in confidence building activities. 

Anah is not a government funded organisation and relies on grants and public donations in order to keep the much needed service available.
