Abroad for yes-Lola White

Hi, my name is Lola and I am a student midwife. I am currently in Denmark doing an 8-week placement in a labour ward. From working here away from the shadow of the 8th amendment and seeing how it is to truly give woman-centred care,  means  I can't stay here and not vote. Before I left I have been a member of midwives for choice and was canvassing with together for yes. I hoped this would be enough but my career will be working and caring for pregnant women in need of an abortion in a country where the only care is a Ryanair flight. I want to give women the opportunity for bodily autonomy, informed consent and compassionate care.  The flights from here are so expensive (direct flights with Ryanair €700!!!!!!!) but I have found flights that will take longer and require a few changes but work out at about €490 with the exchange rate. Anything would hugely help towards the flights.

If this hasn't made much sense I apologise as I have just come off a 12 hour night shift and my brain isn't working the best.
