Abi and Izzy’s fundraiser

Abi and Izzy are 12 and 8 respectively. They are my stepdaughters. Their mum died of cervical cancer on 2nd December 2019, Abi’s 12th birthday, at the age of just 40. Their mum was told that the cancer was not terminal, so her sudden deterioration and death was a huge shock and gave the girls very little time to prepare themselves and say goodbye. Their dad is a former Grenadier Guard, and they have grown up with him often being away due to his postings. To now face the loss of their mum too is so much for such young girls, but they are coping amazingly well. I am raising money to take them for a really special day out or even a small holiday. The children and families of service personnel are often forgotten, but they too experience all the hardships that veterans or service personnel do. Every penny donated is gratefully received and would mean the world to these two little girls who have been through so much.
