Abeng is a community radio station established as the voice of the Maroon people of Trelawny Town,
Accompong to protect and share their rich history and indigenous culture.
Through a group of community volunteers carrying out its operation, we believed in the inclusion of
our people, listening to their hearts with the aim to aid community growth and development.
Our enticing programs indulges in health talks, historical stories looking at the past, present, and future
implications as well as programs for the edifying on our spiritual beings and empowering our children.
These programs captivate listenership of a prestige niche that covers the parish of St. Elizabeth moving
into sections of Trelawny.
