Abdallah's Visa
Spende geschützt
We all know and love Abdallah Dannaoui, who’s been part of the Arts Centre team for a number of years during his time studying for his degree in Film and Television Studies. His final short film Bitter Greens deservedly earned him a First, and on behalf of the whole Arts Centre, we sincerely congratulate him on his achievements.
All the way from Lebanon, Abdallah has made Aberystwyth his home while self-funding his time here; working extremely hard over three jobs, studying full time, volunteering on numerous other cultural activities and also learning a new language! He’s made a remarkable impression on all of us.
Abdallah’s student visa is about to run out, and we can’t imagine life without him! He’s applying for a Gradate Visa to allow him to stay and work in this country for a few more years, which costs £3000, plus the need to have an additional £1000 in his account.
We want to acknowledge all his dedication over the years by raising something that he can put towards the cost of this visa. Especially with all the time he’s given to us, despite his studies, to the benefit of the Arts Centre and his department too. So if you’re happy to donate anything, it doesn’t matter how big or small, it would be a wonderful gesture to raise a little something to show our appreciation.
Thank you!
