Abba's House Startup Campaign

Hi there! I'm Kris/Kristin Freudenthal. I have been living and serving the people of South Africa for the past 5 years. Recently, I have learned about the dire need for safe homes for children here in SA. And I can't ignore this problem! So, I have partnered with some amazing friends (who offered their second home) to open a Safe Haven for children in Loerie, Eastern Cape, South Africa. We have also partnered with an existing Baby House to fall under their NGO status and learn from their amazing leadership how to best work within the legal realms of SA government to provide a safe, Godly home for children ages 0-3 who have no where else to go.

 

But to start this home, I need help!! Before we can have children placed in our home, we have to pass inspections by the Health Department and the Child Welfare Department. It's going to cost a lot to get the home up to standards, provide enough beds, clothes, food, supplies, etc., and to have any repairs needed done on the home. This is where I need your help, please!!

 

I know this is a LARGE goal for a fundraiser. But it's a large dream that God has placed on my heart and I certainly can't do it alone. If 500 people chose to donate the average donation ($20), we could reach our goal and be able to get absolutely everything that we need. But even if we don't hit our goal, every donation is one step closer to being ready to open and one more item we can mark off our to-do/wish list. And every single donation will be so very much cherished as a seed planted into this Kingdom size goal.
