Help reunify mothers and children

Hello, my name is Marina and I am the founder of It's All About Kidz www.aakidz.org. This is a pilot program that specializes in helping mothers reunify with their children. In this program mothers live with their children as they learn how to stay clean, become employed, further their educational goals and most importantly, learn how to be loving and attentive parents.



These are real families that my program has helped. To date, we have reunified thirteen families and have taken fifteen children out of the foster care system. Instead of going to bed in a strange home- these children are now going to bed and waking up with their mothers.



Did you know, a large percentage of women whose children end-up in the foster care system are themselves the product of foster care? Most are run-aways, spending their young lives on the streets. They don't understand the meaning of motherhood - and why should they? What kind of example did they have?



Mothers coming into my program have very few skills, lack education, have no financial resources and, suffer with great emotional pain which they try to mask with drugs and alcohol. But there is hope, with a little guidance, patience and love, these mothers begin to heal and finally become strong enough to take care of their own children.



I am asking for your help today...your help to give more mothers a chance to regain custody of their child(ren) and a chance at a new life. You do not have to donate much, every little bit counts... $45.00 will house and feed a family for the day. A hundred dollars will feed, house and provide transportation to a family for a week.



This is me. I am often asked, "why do you do this?" My answer is always the same...Have you ever looked into a mother's eyes after she was told that her children are finally coming home? If you haven't, you are missing a heart-melting experience.
