Camper Mobility: Golf Cart for U Bar U

U Bar U offers summer camps each year for children and youth ages 8-18 (mostly Unitarian Universalist but all are welcome). U Bar U is a gorgeous setting in the Texas hill country which is amazing for most everyone, but the terrain is rather rough, especially for anyone with mobility issues. Each year we have children, youth or adults attend who do have mobility issues. Currently we drive them from point to point using our regular cars which is not environmentally friendly and rough on vehicles. The cart will offer a nicer camp experience all around.
In an effort to become more accessible as well as environmentally responsible, the high school campers a couple of years ago decided to fundraise to buy an electric all-terrain golf cart for U Bar U so that their friends having difficulties could get around easier. For two years, the high school camp has held a service auction with proceeds going toward said golf cart. They have so far raised $1500!
Camp starts in a few weeks, and we know we will once again have people participating with mobility issues. The high school youth have worked so hard to make this a reality and we want to make this little dream come true for them this year.

ALL donations will go directly to the purchase of a used (in good shape), electric, all terrain, 4 passenger golf cart like the one pictured. Any extra will be set aside for maintenance of the vehicle. Thank you so much for your contribution!
