Helping Harry

Hello and thank you for taking a moment to visit our page!

I have set up this page to raise funds for my 65 yr. young father with the intention of helping him find a new path in life. It’s difficult to estimate how much time he has left. When I picked him up from the nursing home, he was nearly lifeless and as the days have progressed, his mental and physical condition continues to weaken.

Currently he has 25% lung capacity, massive depression and no place to call home. He has bounced around between hospitals and nursing homes for 9 months and the bills are mounting. His fixed income from Social Security is limiting our ability to find a comfortable residence that meets his needs. He doesn’t have a car to pick up food and gets exhausted extremely quickly. His desire is to be self sufficient and live on his own, however we are concerned about his ability to take care of himself as well as cover his necessary bills each month. We are working around the clock, gathering information as we search for the best plan of action. From personal care homes to assisted living, it’s been a humbling experience to say the least.

I am confident that God will bless us with the most comfortable place for him to live the life he has left, we just need to find it as quickly as the Universe allows. My wish is that the funds we raise will help give him some hope, security and independence to find a better path. Money will not end his suffering, but it will surely lighten the load. He has since forgotten all that he has given to many others as well as myself. The very least I can do is ask for help on behalf of my father when he needs it most.
