Baby Atlas

On January 4th Atlas joined the world. When he arrived he had some major struggles. He was not breathing and needed some assistance. He needed to be intubated and his blood sugars dropped very low. Both he and Jillian had infection. After given the all clear around 7 pm he stopped breathing and had a seizure. At that time the decision was made to send him to DeVos children's hospital. Due to the weather the option to air lift him was unavailable. DeVos sent a team to transport him to Grand Rapids. 
So with all of these surprises there is a great concern of the costs this is going to incur for Jillian and Matt. The cost of gas and food as well as missed work is going to affect the ability to meet expenses and bills.
