We are trying to raise money to send a companion to Rome, Italy with my paraplegic daughter Shayla L. Gaither who uses a manual wheelchair.  She has been taking Latin for 3 years and her class is traveling to Rome, Italy.  Shayla needs a companion to attend to her daily medical and physical needs. Without the additional funds for the companion, Shayla will be unable to attend the trip with her class.  Please note that Shayla is an honor student who maintains a 3.6 GPA at Cheltenham High School while staying active in her school's drama program and other extracurricular activities. Shayla has been a member of the National Junior Honor Society since 2012. She also participates in other honor programs.
