A Village to help Robyn

Robyn has been a Single parent for over 20 years, raising two children 10 years apart in age. Life has not always been easy, but Robyn has still found ways to give to others. Most recently, she has been working with Seniors in their own homes or at various Vancouver Island Health Residential Care facilities. Robyn is the one that you want to have taking care of your loved one! She treats them all as if they are her family members, offering hugs, smiles or an ear to listen. Some call her the night staff 'nursing whisperer.' She is calm and collected in the worse situations, and her 'common sense' makes everyone feel safe and cared for.

Now it is our time to help care for Robyn and her young family as she is off work trying to fight Cancer, while still providing the basics of life at home. At this time Robyn is struggling to make that happen due to mounting bills since her regular pay cheques have stopped. It is unknown how long Robyn will need to be off without pay.

Every little bit helps... They say, "it takes a village to raise a child." As the "Village" around Robyn, lets help her keep the bills paid, food on the table and allow her to focus on beating Cancer and continuing to be an awesome Mother, friend, sister and daughter!
