A Theory of Change is a "Vancouver" based organization of passionate individuals advocating for human rights amongst marginalized communities that are unheard. Our purpose is to mobilize changemakers, to reimagine and realize futures where poverty, prison and prejudice have much less power to cause immediate and generational harm.
"Vancouver"- We acknowledge we are on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Where ATOC began : our founding members Jessie Hart, Rhidale Dotson, Rebecca Geist, Sara Trapara, Abi Moore and many more began to write Rhidale's story together as a feature length film.
Rhidale Dotson is the incarcerated leader behind a collection of successful gang-reform programs and personal development initiatives within the Colorado state prison system. Rhidale’s programs contribute to actionable opportunities for hope and realize the universal appreciation of human dignity both behind bars and beyond.
We have several creative projects on track, aiming to inform the public of the realities that need change around us, but we really need a physical space to centralize at! Square footage in "Vancouver" is $56.00 per square foot, we are hoping to get at least 1000 square feet space open to the public (if you have space suggestions email [email modificata])
As a team working to both support Rhidale and his community and create change within our own, we come down to asking the community to support us.
