A Safe Way Home for Brittany

There is so much to think about during the COVID-19 crisis and we at From Where She Sits are committed to doing our part. Shortly, we will release an episode of the podcast featuring our interview with Brittany Bennett who is nurse at the center of fighting this pandemic in a hospital in Brooklyn. Brittany commutes 90 minutes each way to work by subway often having to wait for numerous trains to pass so that she can maintain six feet of distance from the other riders - most of whom are homeless individuals without anywhere else to go.  It is scary and it adds to Brittany’s already intense and long days.  We can help - by raising money for her to rent a car and cover the attenuate costs of Brittany being able to safely travel to and from the hospital. Any amount helps.
