Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Our madrassah, where our children study, is in need of support. It was founded by a sister originally from the UK who has been living in Egypt for many years. What began as a small initiative for her own child has grown into a small non-profit madrassah that now benefits several local families.

Many local markaz and madrassahs face ongoing challenges, including limited resources, behavioural difficulties, language barriers, and cultural differences between teachers and students. This centre was established to provide a nurturing and structured environment where children can learn with care, consistency, and understanding.

The madrassah focuses on:

• Hifdh (memorisation of the Qur’an)

• Islamic studies and hadith memorisation

• Arabic language learning

• Strong tarbiyyah, nurturing Islamic character, adab, and love for the Deen

At present, the main needs are donations towards:

• Two small AC units (for the Qur’an and Arabic rooms, as the heat makes learning very difficult)

• Monthly rent for the school premises

• General maintenance and upkeep

• Classroom resources and learning materials

The class consists of around 10 young boys, all striving to memorise the Book of Allah. Supporting this madrassah is a beautiful opportunity to take part in ongoing benefit and reward.

“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”

Supporting a madrassah continues beneficial knowledge and ongoing charity, in shaa Allah, bringing reward even after one reruns to their lord.
