A Mother’s Fight to Give Her Daughter a Chance

My name is China Mac, and recently I met a mother in Vietnam who carries an unimaginable burden every single day. Her teenage daughter is paralyzed and cannot speak, completely dependent on her mother’s care. To provide for her family, this mother works long hours and makes just $5 a day — barely enough to cover food, let alone rent.

Every month is a fight for survival. She worries constantly about keeping a roof over her children’s heads while also caring for her daughter around the clock. The weight she carries is more than any mother should have to bear alone.

With your help, we want to take away some of that crushing pressure. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover one full year of rent for her family, giving her peace of mind and the stability she desperately needs. We also want to buy her a bike and a cart so she can sell goods and earn a more reliable income to support her children.
