A Jack-Tacular Halloween Drive Thru- The BIG Event

In the spirit of Halloween, The BIG Event will be hosting an event for the Nacogdoches community called “Jack-tacular Halloween Drive-Thru” on October 29th from 6:30-8pm. This will essentially be a drive-thru trick-or-treating event for children held on Vista Drive (by the Baker Patillo Student Center on SFA’s campus). Participating trick-or-treaters are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes in their vehicles to get the full Halloween experience!
Participating children will be required to remain in their cars to maintain everyone’s safety during the trick or treating event. Candy will be handed out by SFA student volunteers from various organizations who will wear masks and gloves and sanitize their hands often. All treats handed out will be prepackaged.
We are truly aiming to hold a safe, fun way to allow local children to still celebrate Halloween.
We are currently accepting donations for candy for our event. Any contribution you are able to make is greatly appreciated and will help make this unique Halloween a positive and fun experience for the children of Nacogdoches!
The BIG Event would like to know if there is any way that you could share this event with your school’s students and their parents (through your school’s Facebook page, a newsletter, daily announcements, or any other outlet you deem appropriate). Please let us know if you have any questions, comments or concerns!
