A Home Makeover for The Ammons' Family

My name is Jacqueline Wheeler and my dear cousin, David Ammons' 8 year old son' Asher, was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. His prognosis is grim. The family, David, Leah, Asher and little Annelise, have gone to St. Jude's in Memphis, TN, for radiation therapy in order to buy as much time for Asher as possible. They expect to be there for 6 weeks.
David and Leah bought a new house last year and have been slowly updating it. They have little in the way of furniture and decor. David was in the middle of painting the living room when the the news came of Asher's cancer. Their amazing church family is coming together to finish the painting for them while they are gone.
I am an interior designer and I want to make their house in to a warm, finished home as a surprise for them when they return from Memphis. It will give them a beautiful place to spend time as a family. I believe that your home - your sanctuary - makes a difference in how you feel. It can be warm, peaceful, and yes, beautiful. David often updates me on his projects around the house - and I know their taste and style. So I feel confident that I can give them their dream home. This will give me a way to pour out my love on them in the best way I know how.
But I need your help! Obviously my company is donating our time, but I need funds to help purchase the items. Any amount is helpful. This will be a quick turnaround since they will be away 6 weeks or less, so I am going to start very soon!
I know there are so many people out there who love this family as I do. Please remember I am trying to keep this a surprise for them, so please share with your friends privately if you think Leah might see this on your FB page.
The more we raise, the more rooms we can finish. If we finish and there are funds left, I will donate it to the Ammons' family, so that they may do something as a family to make memories with Asher.
