In a terrible accident this August, Caleb Nathaniel was taken from us. This sweet family needed a new/safer home far before this unimaginable tragedy, and now they feel utterly paralyzed by being in the place where the accident occurred. This family is even more desperate to move than before and they need our help. As they take steps to find a home that will fit them all, securing a down payment is the only thing standing in their way.
The donations given to the medical fund were greatly appreciated and have covered the funeral and living expenses during their extreme grief and while Sarah is out of work. What's left is holding them over but won't be enough secure a home. There are no words to adequately describe the blessing that Sarah has been to me and so many others over the years. Sarah has ministered to the community as a volunteer in various roles to support those in need. She has committed her life to supporting and advocating others. She has given freely of her time, energy, and resources to everyone she meets and she would never ask for anything in return. Her generosity and love truly knows no bounds. As many people know, Sarah has been left to raise 5 children by their biological father and has handled all responsibilities with courage and grace, despite the lack of resources available to her. Sarah has taken up the role of provider and juggled work and raising all 5 children while still lifting up others as well. As a single working mom of 5, she has shown tremendous resilience in the face of overwhelming challenges time and time again, without asking for help or allowing the overwhelming obstacles to overtake her spirit of hope or her trust in God.
In the midst of all life has thrown her way, Sarah has remained faithful and has dedicated her life to raising her children to be kind and loving, with hearts for service. Sarah’s house has always been a place of refuge, welcome to all. A home where anyone can come and feel safe, loved, and have plenty of deep, hearty laughs with her and her beautiful children. It is the place to host countless children for sleepovers, birthday parties, and holiday celebrations because everyone knows that it will be a safe and fun place to be because of the love and warmth she carries (despite the physical space lacking).
Sarah has never sought vanity and has a humble spirit, but the truth is her children are growing and their old house is bursting at the seams. The reality is that there are 6 individuals living in a 18 year old trailer that is in disrepair. What they really need is a home that allows her children to have their own spaces and room to spend time together as a family, which they all cherish deeply. That is why I am reaching out on her behalf. She has reluctantly agreed to accept support in the way of financial donations so that she can buy a suitable living space for her 5 growing children. The goal is that their home can reflect the love, warmth, generosity, and joy that Sarah, Joshua, Caleb, Jubilee, Levi, and Zion share with everyone who knows them.
