A gift of home

One of our families found themselves without a home this holiday season. Alexis Cope,  a hard-working senior student, excitedly shared two weeks ago that her family will finally have stable housing. Unfortunately, the plans fell through because the family did not have finances to make a deposit on their home ($3,000) or pay off Delmarva bill ($1,100) needed to process rental arrangements. The family is now looking for a one bedroom place they can afford, but we would like to make the rental possible by helping pay off the utility bill, security deposit, and move-in expenses. Alexis' mom is a vet who due to health issues is unable to work. Alexis' sister has recently become very ill, a condition that becomes worse due to unstable circumstances. Alexis dreams of becoming a student at Kenyon college in Ohio and has a very high chance of getting admitted if she continues strong performance at school. Studying has been challenging for her: she does not have a peaceful place to complete her work in temporary homes they move to and she has had to take care of mom and sister. We only need 30 caring people to give $100. Will you help this family be in a home of their own before 2018 and will you help Alexis reach her dreams that she's worked so hard for?
