A friend and brother in need

I sadly come to you my friends and ask for your help, it is a uncomfortable and embarrassing situation. But my on going health issues have prevented me from working for the past 14 months.  Although I was fortunate enough to have had saving and other avenues to keep  my family afloat this past year, I find myself in that odd in between where I am 6 to 8 weeks away from receiving payments from my disability and other disability settlements. I knew a few months back it would be a very scary race between the start of my payments and the depletion of my saving.  Sadly I have lost that race and I am completely running out of money.  I know money is always tight, especially this time of year. It is so very very difficult for me to have to ask my friends to find room in their hearts to help me and my family. I just truly do not see any other way to provide for my boys over the next few weeks. I picked the goal amount simple because I do not know exactly how long  it will be until I start receiving my payments and have come up with the absolute minimum I believe I need to survive the next few months. I can not tell you how completely embarrassed I am to have to ask for your help and truly wish I could just return to work. But battling a long list of illnesses has taken a huge toll on me physically and I have completely exhausted all available avenues. I thank you all in advance for any help you can provide.
