A Family Restored

Hi everyone. Our names our Matt & Nikki DiFiore. We have been married for 14 yrs. We have 7 amazing children ranging from 2 to 23 yrs. old. We are completly sold out, living for the one who transformed our lives forever, Jesus Christ. Four of our children attend Concord Christian Academy where our 12 yr. old "Faith" met her best friend Shayla 2 yrs ago. Shayla
lives in a foster home with her older sister Sarah. Back in October, they were seperated from their 4 yr. old little brother. Syrus was sent  to Colorado to live with an aunt. The girls have been extremely saddened by this speration. They have all been together their whole lives up unto a year and a half ago. God has stratigically brought us into the birth mothers life in the last year. Cheryl is an amazing woman who loves her children very much. She also has a 19yr. old son named Sameul who is in the peace core. Cheryl suffered some very unfortunate, abusive circumstances in the past couple of yrs. which led to her having a nervous breakdown. She ended up being hospitalized for awhile. Because her husband was part of the abuse, the children were put into foster care. Because she is now a single mom and does not have much income, its been very hard to get the children back. God has clearly spoken to us to help this precious family be reunited. We have a relationship with the two girls. They desperatly want to be reunited with their mom and little brother. Cheryl had recieved a court appointed lawyer to help her get the kids back, which did not help much at all. Cheryl became very discouraged and depressed. she felt very alone and had no support from family or friends, as they all live in a different state.  We are her only friends here and have been faithfully praying for this precious family for months. we felt led to help them in anyway we can. We abolutely believe in second chances, and the power of God to bring this family back together. We hired a personel, family law attorney for Cheryl a few months ago. Things have been progressing. Cheryl has went above and beyond, to do everything in her power to get her children back. We couldn't be more proud of her. We have had the privelage of watching the power of believing and loving someone like Jesus does. Watching hope become alive again. Its been a beautiful picture of redemption. We love this family very much and really want to see them reunited. This brings us to our need. While the attorney has been wonderful, the costs are alot. We still have a ways to go.
