A Car To Be Able To Go Home

My name is Justin Terry, and I am a Youth Ministry major at Cincinnati Christian University, in Cincinnati OH. Throughout my life I have always felt I could manage life on my own, that if i needed something I would find a way to get it for mysef.  It took me a long time to see how nieve this thinking really was. If there are people wanting and willing to help, why would i intentionally shut them out and still try to struggle by on my own. So I am tired of trying to acheive this on my own will, and i am asking you for help. I am a freshman in college, and my family lives 3.5 hours away in Bloomington, IN. I am on a Cross Country athletic scholarship, and is one of the only ways i am able to attend my university. Last year my mom was diagnoised with metastatic breast cancer, this is her third bout of breast cancer she has been diagnosed with in last 10 years. Time with her is a precious and limited commodity for me, I have been at college for 4 months now, and have been able to go home and see her once. This reason being I do not have a vehicle. If I had a car I would be able to visit her and my family back home much more often without having her drive a 7 hour round trip to pick me upa nad take me back. I would like to promise you, that even though this may seem like a selfish request of help, I want to be able to see my mom while i still can. I am trying to save up money to buy a 2006 or newer Honda Civic,

but being a fulltime student, a colligate athlete, and working parttime in our addmissions office, I do not make very much money. Thank you for reading,  God Bless.
