A Blanket for Hannah's Memorial Trust

I'm raising money for Hannah's Memorial Trust by giving away a hand made, one-off patchwork style bed throw / blanket using the offcuts of Irregular Sleep Pattern organic cotton fabric [see work in progress below]. £2 donation gets once chance in the draw, and multiples of that getting more. We will do a live draw mid December. [date tbc]
ABOUT HANNAH's TRUST Jake, Fi and Francesa started Hannah's Memorial Trust in Hannah's memory earlier this year. They say, "We are trying to celebrate Hannah's life by helping to promote some of the things that were important to her. Art, music, dance & drama participation for young people is under pressure from funding cuts and needs help. The natural world also desperately needs our help and Hannah would have loved to do something about it."
Like many people, I know Jake from many moons ago at the Lemon Tree. I hung out, and occasionally played gigs there as a young teen, longing to be part of the "cool gang" who worked there, and breathing in as much culture as I could. In the Spring, Jake and Fi asked if anyone would like to plant sunflowers in Hannah's memory, and although I've not seen Jake for many many years, and have never met his family, I of course wanted to do this. It got me thinking about how I could help raise some money, and the blanket seemed like the perfect thing.
The patchwork blanket will be Super King bed-sized, and made with love rather than great precision as I am a hobby crafter. My mum, who taught me this crazy patchwork technique will help me with the finishing of the blanket. It's currently a work in progress, and as I work on it, I will post updates so you can see how it is looking. When we set a date for the live draw, we will let you know.
We're living in such strange times, with so many people out of work, but every £2 counts and will be received with gratitude.
