I have been working on my book "Birth: A Black Woman's Survival Guide" for the past 3 years, and I am happy to report that its almost finished.
I have decided to self publish so that I have better control of my work and am better able to allow this book to be given free to those who need it as well as to support my work with Oakland Better Birth Foundation.
Your gift will help me:
Have the book professionally edited.
Secure the rights to the photograph that I wish to include in the book as its front cover.
Pay fees to my graphic artist.
The publisher I will be usisng is a subsidiary of hay House, Inc. And they will assist with promoting the book as well as being sure that the book is properly postitioned for sale with iTunes and other ebook sales sites.
Any amount you can give will support this effort.
Those who can give 60.00 or more will recieve a copy of the book when it is completed .

No healthy women should ever have to fear death in childbirth , certianly not in what is reported as the most powerful contry in the world.
