Sr Scam happened to Earl & Rosie

Please Help our Parents who fell for a Senior Scam.
Thursday, 11-9-17 Earl and Rosie Zimmerman received a phone call from their “grandson” saying he was in Jail and needed bail money. This turned out to be a scam. The scammers did everything they do, they preyed on Senior Citizens and played on their kindness of their hearts.
The scammers consisted of the ‘grandson’, and a police officer. When their “grandson” called, they didn’t hesitate to drop everything and go to get the $7000 worth of Gift Cards to pay the ‘bail’ money. Their grandson pleaded to not call his parents, they wanted to keep it quiet and he would pay them back.
Earl & Rosie are the most generous and kind-hearted people you will ever meet. We know over the years, you've either fished with Earl, or played cards with the both of them. Countless hours of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, over 30 years for Earl, helping so many to build, fix, and repair so many things/places. Rosie, cooking up a storm to feed so many people. The time devoted to their church and friends. We hope that everyone, family & friends, could come together and make a donation.
This has been reported to the authorities, and unfortunately, the chances are almost nothing that any of it will be recovered. Please share this story with your family members, that the scammers are still out there and know what to say. You think it couldn't happen to your parents, but, you don't know, until its too late. It is sad that there are people out there, preying on the kind hearted.
The family is asking for your help. They just Celebrated 65 years of marriage, & $7000 is a lot of money for an them to lose, being on a fixed income. If you are able to help, in any way, please do, anything will be appreciated. On behalf of the Family of Earl & Rosie, Thank You!
