Detroit Immigration Action Legal Defense Fund
Donation protected
On July 31st, Michigan immigrants and allies with Movimiento Cosecha shut down the international tunnel between Detroit and Canada during the Democratic Debates, to demand that all candidates commit to stopping deportations on day one in office. After our arrest, all of the #WindsorTunnel21 protestors are now being charged for our action to demand dignity for immigrants.
We need you to stand with immigrants and allies in Detroit now by chipping in to the campaign to fund our legal defense.
Your support will help the legal workers at the National Lawyers Guild currently defending us in court. It will defray the expenses of all 21 protestors in court, and it will fund the continued fight against deportations by direct contribution to the Detroit circle of Movimiento Cosecha and the NLG.
We could not do this work without the love and generosity of our community, and I hope I can count on you, your family, and your friends to chip in and share this campaign to keep us in the fight.
Yours in good trouble,
Will Toms and the Windsor Tunnel 21
