What-began-as-a-fight-against-cancer-has-now-ended

Our family hasn't shared this with many people yet to date, but our dad (Ed Keen) was diagnosed with cancer last summer. Initially, we were hopeful, as it was caught relatively early. However, cancer had different plans. Recently, we learned that he has two variations of cancer, and it is spreading rapidly.

To date, he has already undergone five surgeries, with a sixth scheduled—and many more to come. The treatments, surgeries, and specialist appointments have been grueling, requiring countless hospital stays and frequent travel between Minnesota and North Dakota. The toll this has taken, both physically and financially, is overwhelming, but he continues to fight with incredible strength.

Our dad is not only our father—he is a grandpa, a great-grandpa, an uncle, a brother, and so much more. But most importantly, he is our mom’s everything—her best friend, soulmate, and loving husband. Their love is the foundation of our family, and we are doing everything we can to support them through this battle.

As he focuses on healing, we want to relieve the financial burden that comes with ongoing treatments, medical expenses, travel costs, and recovery care.
