Weltwärts Freiwilligendienst in Vietnam

Hallo! ‍:)

Mein Name ist Trang. Ich bin 19 Jahre alt und Ende Sommer werde ich für sechs Monate nach Da Nang, Vietnam reisen, um dort im Rahmen des weltwärts-Programms einen Freiwilligendienst zu leisten.

Gemeinsam mit der vietnamesischen Organisation Catalyst 4 Change (C4C) und meiner deutschen Entsendeorganisation DIZ werde ich in der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit für Frauenrechte und soziale Projekte mitarbeiten.

C4C setzt sich für entrechtete Frauen und ihre Kinder ein, bietet Bildungs- und Empowermentprogramme an und schafft langfristige Perspektiven für ein selbstbestimmtes Leben.

Meine Aufgaben vor Ort:

Ich freue mich unglaublich auf die bevorstehende Zeit und vor allem darauf, von anderen zu lernen, gemeinsam zu gestalten und einen kleinen Beitrag zu etwas Größerem zu leisten.

Warum ich Spenden sammle:

Der weltwärts-Dienst wird zu 75 % vom Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) finanziert. Die restlichen 25 % (bei mir ca. 2.220 €) muss meine Organisation durch Spenden decken.

Da die DIZ eine gemeinnützige Organisation ist, bin ich als Freiwillige gefragt, selbst einen Spendenkreis aufzubauen, damit auch zukünftige Freiwillige die gleiche Chance bekommen wie ich.

Jede Spende hilft, ganz egal wie klein sie ist❣️

Hello! :)

My name is Trang. I’m 19 years old and at the end of summer I’ll be traveling to Da Nang, Vietnam, to take part in a six-month voluntary service through the weltwaerts program.

Together with the Vietnamese organization Catalyst 4 Change (C4C) and my German sending organization DIZ, I will support public relations work focused on women’s rights and social projects.

C4C advocates for marginalized women and their children, offering education and empowerment programs to create long-term perspectives for a self-determined life.

My tasks on site will include:

I’m incredibly excited about the journey ahead, especially about learning from others and contributing a small part to something bigger.

Why I’m raising donations:

The weltwaerts program is 75% funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The remaining 25% (in my case, about €2,220) must be covered by donations to my sending organization.

Since DIZ is a non-profit organization, I as a volunteer am responsible for building a circle of supporters, so that future volunteers can have the same opportunity as I do.
