Weekend meals for Madison students in need

We have been so inspired and wowed by all of the ways our Madison community is supporting each other, the front-line workers, senior citizens, and local businesses during the COVID-19 crisis. It's really remarkable to watch and be a part of. In that vein, we are organizing a way to help the 60 or so Madison kids who are receiving free and reduced lunches (kudos to our administration and Pomptonian for making that happen). We had been thinking about collecting groceries to give out on Fridays to use during the weekends, but it's become clear that what works best is giving out grocery gift cards so that families can get the items they need most.
