I'm Alex McKiernan and I'm raising money for my good friend, Tabatha Conger.
Two years ago she became a quadriplegic in a car accident and she's been fighting for stability in her life ever since. And if you don't know Tabatha, take my word for it: Queen B can fight! Her latest struggle is with her insurance as they are unwilling to pony up what she needs to stay in the hospital while trying to heal from her latest surgery.
We're trying to raise $4,500 to keep her in the hospital for as long as possible, and we need it soon -- insurance wants to send her to a facility that can't really meet her needs, and they want to do it on December 15th!
Raising this money is very important to me because Tabatha is very important to me. She and I spent months together while initially rehabbing from our spinal cord injuries, and she has been through far more than I or anyone reading this could ever imagine. I will be so proud if we can at least ease her burden for a short while!
