Journey to Ghana West Africa

Africa!  Womanhood Training (WHT) plans travel to Ghana West Africa!

In July of 2015, we will travel to Ghana, West Africa for ten (10) days with 22 girls who are participants of the WHT program. Your financial donation will help offset the costs of our travels.

WHT is an African centered rites of passage program dedicated to transforming, nurturing, empowering, and enriching the lives of young girls as they journey into womanhood. We mentor girls ages 12 – 17 from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas. The program provides extensive training and enrichment activities centered around cultural awareness, spiritual development, social responsibility, self-identity and awareness, and holistic health.  For more information, please visit us at womanhoodtraining.com.
