WARM LOVE GOODIE BAGS
The Hapeville Empowerment Club is teaming up Ms. D'Khorvillyn Tyus' Girl Scout Gold Award Project called "WARM Love 4 Chemo Patients". The project's purpose is to provide items to new chemo patients fighting CANcer during the hospital stays. Please support our fundraising efforts as we raise funds to purchase items such as: hand sanitizer, hats, scarves, socks, blankets, YumEarth Organic sour candy, books, face masks, Tom's or Biotene toothpaste, eye drops, healthy snacks, reusable plastic utensils and water bottles, Burt's Bees lip balm, and Aquaphor lotion. The goodie bags will help prepare them to cope with the side effects they will encounter from chemotherapy.
Please support our cause!
** The Hapeville Empowerment Club was founded in 2014 by a group of Hapeville Elementary School 2nd grade students. After reading an article in Scholastic News about Malala Yousafzai, being shot by the Taliban for supporting education for girls in Pakistan, they decided to form a club that would empower others. The Hapeville Empowerment Club has 3 departments: Litter Patrol, Fundraising, and Outreach.
Supporting the "WARM Love 4 Chemo Patients" is aligned with our Outreach department.
Thank you so much for your support!
