The missing and murdered in our country need a voice, someone that has the means to accurately advocate for them to bring then home or bring them justice an d some closure for their loved ones.
The general public doesn't realize how much it costs to fund a search for someone. Most families can not take on the full financial responsibility so they depend on groups, non profits and donations from strangers to get them through it. There are SO many families that are trying to do it alone because they just haven't got the media attention others have gotten. That's where I'm wanting to help.
That family that has exhausted everything they had to look for their loved one and now can't even afford to have flyers printed off for posting. They need us to help them buy those flyers. That family that has a search team coming in to search but can't pay for housing or food for the volunteers, that's where we come in. I want to help the people that AREN'T all over the news. The ones that can't find a pro-bono private investigator. The ones that need to buy water for volunteer searchers...and on and on. The cost a family endures doesn't stop, even when all of the media hoopla does, it is a lifetime for some.
I'm just one girl, trying to make a difference and if I can do that for one family or a hundred families, I will keep this campaign going..for as long as someone needs it to be. So please, help me to help them. I mean it when I say "even a dollar matters" because if a hundred of you said that and donated then that helps out a family in the most crisis period of their lives..every dollar adds up, so please, do the right thing and give, even if it's just a little. Together, we DO and CAN make a difference.
