Spring Break Humanitarian Trip

The Ugandan Team needs your help. Our medical team has encountered a great need for help and supplies. Many of the people here need surgeries they cannot afford. A typical surgery and hospital stay in Uganda costs about $300. Sarah has encountered 5 patients yesterday who need surgery such as gallbladder removal or hernia repair. We will see many more in the need the rest of the week we are here. We are also needing money to buy medications such as antibiotics and steroids for the many infections we are seeing. Our team has each give $10 out of our spending money to help one lady get surgery for $300. We want to help just one more person and with your help we can do that. Hi my name is Madeline and I have an unbelievable opportunity  to take part in a Spring Break Humanitarian Mission Trip to Kiryandongo Refugee Camp, sponsored by Mile High Academy.  I will be going with 14 other students, parents and teachers.    A Spring Break spent on a project like this will be a life changing experience. 

Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement is a refugee camp in Bweyale, Uganda .  It is home to Kenya, DR Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan nationals. 

Our group will be involved with service projects of building, digging latrines and wells, setting up light poles and solar panels, constructing clay ovens, building a hospital and many other things. 

Over the last year as my parents and I traveled the world.  We were in many places  that we would have liked to make a difference.  My parents and I now have the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life.   Your generous donation is a great way for you to be a part of this ineradicable experience.
