With less than a month left before they head off to volunteer in Uganda with Nurture Africa, David Duffy, Jason Campbell and Shane Higgins are combining their final fundraising efforts to raise as much money as possible for Nurture Africa using a last person standing competition as the vehicle to do so.
The money raised through this page is solely for the purpose of collecting and tracking the entries and ensuring the largest amount possible for the charity :)
Some incredible prizes and every €10 donation gets you one entry into the “Last Person Standing” competition as well as one entry into the raffle so well worth a punt!
The Last Person Standing is NOT a football match you have to kit out and play inJ, you must simply select a team from the premier league to win each week.

This month, Nurture Africa commenced live maternity births in the medical centre outside Kampala and also have a brilliant vocational youth centre under construction.
It is amazing how fast this super organization is growing, and is changing for the better.
From providing educational support for many kids in the Nansana area of Uganda, to providing essential medical care for thousands of people in the district, many affected by HIV, Nurture Africa helps out where it can.
It also provides many other amazing activities, like providing sustainable livelihood support, vocational training, and seed capital for small business creation.
A great cause I’m sure you will agree!

Last Person Standing Game Rules
Cost to play the game & raffle: €10 = 1 entry (you can enter as much as you want, just use a different nickname)
Here are the rules of the Last Man Standing Game:
Enter once by paying €10 on this go fund me page before Friday 5th October at 6pm and send your team by 7pm on the same day (first match K.O. 8pm 5th October)

If you donate €10 after the closing time you will miss the football competition, but will automatically still get entered into the raffle.
You can enter as many times as you like, but must repeat the above process again paying another €10 and give a different nickname each other time.
By entering the competition, you will be added to a group email for updates. Entering represents consent to be added to this group for updates and communications. If you do not want these communications, please do not enter.
If your team wins, you go through, lose or draw and you’re out. Each week, simply pick a new team playing a match that week – simple.

You can only pick a team to win once in a competition, so be tactical about who you pick and when.
All selections must be in 1 hour before kick-off of the first match each week ()no exceptions) you cannot change your selection once you have given to Shane the organiser so think carefully and choose wisely.
Rounds of fixtures may take place on weekends or mid-week.
If your team’s game is postponed you are automatically put through to the next round.
If you forget to pick a team, Shane the organiser will select the next available team alphabetically that you have not chosen yet.
The winner is the person who keeps winning, until they are on their own.
Anyone can enter, even the volunteers, once the €10 is paid via the go fund me page.
This is a fun charity event. Keep it real. If you are out, you are out. Shane Higgins is managing the process, and makes the decisions, but you are still in with a chance to win a prize in the raffle afterwards.
