On May 30th, Kelly Bettencourt lived her worst nightmare. At 3AM, she received a call that her youngest son, 16 year old Tyler, had been in a car accident and was in the hospital. She immediately rushed to be by his side and hasn’t left since. The extent of Tyler’s injuries include lacerated lungs and bowel, 3 broken vertebrae in his back and fractured vertebrae in his neck, broken nose in 2 places and broken arm. He’s currently on a ventilator as he’s still unable to breathe on his own. Today, he had another surgery to try to clear up infection in his belly.
The driver was uninsured. The extent of the medical bills are not yet known however, the $500 deductible is certain. Kelly has almost exhausted all of her sick leave from work to stay with her son. She is an incredible person who would do absolutely anything for anyone in her life. We’d like to raise $2,500 to help offset the lost wages she’s sure to incur and the medical expenses. Anything amount will help. And most importantly, please pray for quick healing for Tyler and his entire family.
