As you probably know, Hurricane Irma — The most powerful hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean — devastated the British Virgin Islands. The eye of this ferocious monster passed directly over the top of Virgin Gorda, where Aaron, Crystal and 11-month-old Zoe rode it out in their second-story apartment — ultimately surviving the hours-long ordeal by sheltering together inside a tiny closet as the storm's horrific force began peeling away the roof above them.


We are overjoyed to report that they escaped Irma's wrath unharmed. But as you can imagine, they lost absolutely everything, including Crystal's car, Aaron's truck, all personal possessions and their place to live.


So it is with humility that we ask, on their behalf, for your financial support to help them rebuild their lives by making a contribution to the GoFundMe site that brother Zac has set up. 


Aaron and his brother Zac were born in the islands and spent their early years there before movings to California. Since completing high school in Sonoma County, Aaron has spent much of his adult life working in the BVI, where he met and fell in love with lovely Crystal, a Canadian, several years ago. Baby Zoe will celebrate her first birthday on Halloween (October 31).
