Dear Family, Friends and Acquaintances:
Last Summer I travelled to Ghana with WORC- Worldwide Orphanage Relief Coalition, my time was spent at the Joykol School and Needy Home "“an orphanage in Kasoa. It was there that I fell in love; it was there that I made a promise to return.
It is my goal to raise the money needed for my journey. I am in need of $3,500.00; these monies will go directly to my transportation and living expenses (minimal). Any remaining donations will go to fulfilling our main focus which is providing immediate and direct relief to the orphanage.
Through our "hands on" effort we can make a difference in the lives of these children, by improving the healthiness and safety of their living environment. Our time will be spent, effectively distributing donations, we plan and execute various construction projects and we will work with local resources to maximize productivity and sustainability, but most importantly my time, my love and my heart will be given to the children I fell in love with:
My journey has already begun, but now it's' about getting to my destination. I will be leaving the end of June, but I need to book my ticket no later than June 5th"”and this is where I need help. Whether it's a $1.00 or $100.00 dollars, it will help me get where I need to go.
Upon my return, I will be hosting a celebration for my high school graduation and an appreciation celebration where you will be able to see the difference the children have made in my life.
