The Justice Bank

African Americans are victims of mass incarceration at multiple levels. Probably the most atrocious example is the American bail system, where one does not even have to be found guilty of a crime, nor deemed a risk to the public, to be kept in jail, sometimes for YEARS, while awaiting trial. Many jail inmates are even incarcerated for petty low level non-violent offenses. Their only crime is not having enough money to pay the tab.

The Justice Bank, is partnership between the organization We Charge Colonialism (WCC) and Education For Us (E4U) where we will be raising money to assist Blacks being held in jail on bail, who are facing non-violent charges. With your donations, we hope to unite families who are being separated for the crime of being disenfranchised and unable to pay an unjust system.
